On behalf of the Caprock Foundation, I would like to request a donation for our signature fund-raiser, The Caprock Foundation Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, which will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 at the The Rawls Course event is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
Founded by Marciano and Martha Morales, the Caprock Foundation serves as a means to give back to the community that has supported their business over the years.
The foremost initiative the Foundation currently supports is the Celebracion de Exito Scholarship Fund. The fund targets young people who demonstrate initiative and courage in their academic careers, but may not be able to afford higher education without assistance. While not directed whom to choose, high school counselors promote students who may not be top candidates for a sports or academic scholarship; but who have worked hard in high school, performed well in spite of obstacles, and shown promise, drive, and tenacity.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The Caprock Foundation looks to local businesses to help with donations for over 120 expected participants. Grand prize gifts, food, drink, and gift certificates of all kinds would help make our event fun and rewarding.
The Caprock Foundation is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations towards the golf event are tax deductible. The IRS Form W-9 is available upon request.
